Búrið ~ The Icelandic Pantry is a quirky cheese shop in the harbour area of Reykjavík offering the best in gloriously stinky cheeses from around the globe together with a selection of jams, cured meats, olives, chutneys and other nibbles and noshes that make life worth living. Búrið has developed a strong following among curd nerds for its selection of speciality foods from dairy farms and other small, local producers all over Iceland. Look out for temptations such as goat salami, Icelandic Honey, Rhubarb Caramels and Birch Syrup …
Our Specialty food market will be held in Harpa –Reykjavík´s Music and Concert hall. Over 40 farmers, fishermen and artisan producers will showcase their goods at this two day event which is possibly the largest of it´s kind to be held in Iceland.. at least in last 100 years!
This will be the fifth time that we bring all our fantastic producers and suppliers together under one roof.
A celebration which showcases fantastic Icelandic foods, the people that produce it and all the nibbles and noshes required for a winter feast.
